Coco skill for Codex

CommunitySkillProductivity

Coco Super Intelligence: agent skills, slash commands and subagents for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. One command installs them into the tool you already use.

How to install Coco in Codex

In Codex, ask the built-in skill installer for it:

$skill-installer install the <skill> skill from https://github.com/coco-research/coco

Type this in Codex and replace <skill> with a folder name from 'What it contains'. $skill-installer is the skill installer built into Codex, and it downloads the skill from GitHub. Restart Codex if the skill doesn't show up. Check the repo README for any setup it needs. Source: Codex skills docs.

Or copy the skill folder (the one with SKILL.md) into ~/.agents/skills to use it in every project, or into .agents/skills in a repo to share it with that repo. Codex picks up new skills automatically. (where Codex loads skills)

What it contains

Skills (200)

  • agent-lightning — Train and optimize AI agents using Microsoft's Agent Lightning framework with reinforcement learning. Use when setting up agent training, instrumenting agents with tracing, configuring LightningStore, implementing reward functions, or optimizing prompts with…
  • agent-self-eval — Post-run self-evaluation system that scores agent output on correctness, clarity, actionability, and conciseness. Use after /team runs, skill executions, or when explicitly asked to evaluate output quality.
  • ai-marketing-videos — Create AI marketing videos for ads, promos, product launches, and brand content. Models: Veo, Seedance, Wan, FLUX for visuals, Kokoro for voiceover. Types: product demos, testimonials, explainers, social ads, brand videos. Use for: Facebook ads, YouTube ads…
  • ai-product — Use when building AI features into a product: LLM integration, RAG pipelines, guardrails, streaming, AI UX, prompt engineering, or AI cost control. Treats prompts as code and validates every model output.
  • api-design-principles — Use when designing a new REST or GraphQL API, reviewing an API spec before implementation, setting team API standards, or migrating REST to GraphQL. Covers resources, HTTP semantics, pagination, error handling, and pitfalls.
  • arb-review — Generate an Architecture Review Board (ARB) presentation in Coco Inc's standard 11-slide format. Use when someone asks to "create an ARB deck", "architecture review presentation", "prepare for architecture review board", "ARB slides", or needs to present a…
  • arch-index — Build and validate .arch/index.json — a committed map from each architectural component of this repository to the real directories and files that implement it, pinned to a git commit, with every path verified to exist. Also detects structural drift between…
  • axiom-liquid-glass — Use when implementing, reviewing, or debugging Apple Liquid Glass: iOS 26+ adoption, Regular vs Clear variants, tinting, scroll edge effects, or an iOS-native redesign review.
  • brainstorming — You MUST use this before any creative work - creating features, building components, adding functionality, or modifying behavior. Explores user intent, requirements and design before implementation.
  • browser-automation — Use when the agent must open a URL, fill a form, click through a flow, screenshot a page, or extract data from a live page. Covers two providers (agent-browser local CLI, agentic-browser cloud) and the shared @e ref workflow.
  • c4-architecture — Generate architecture documentation using C4 model Mermaid diagrams. Use when asked to create architecture diagrams, document system architecture, visualize software structure, or generate context/container/component/deployment diagrams.
  • change-log — Create or update a structured change log for a product or platform. Use when someone asks to "create a change log", "log this change", "what changed", "update the change log", "release notes", or "changelog". Reads project memory (CLAUDE.local.md Recent…
  • cli-anything — Wrap any command-line tool into a JSON-emitting agent skill. Use when you want to make a CLI reliably callable and parseable by an AI agent — introspect its --help, define a structured-output (--json) contract and a stable error contract, then generate a…
  • clone-website — Clone any website into a pixel-perfect single-file HTML prototype. Extracts design tokens, assets, CSS computed styles, interaction patterns, and content via Playwright. Outputs a self-contained HTML file with real data injection. Use when the user wants to…
  • coco-ads — Turn the project you just shipped into a short, polished, shareable launch video (an "ad") using HyperFrames. Use when someone says "/coco-ads", "make a launch video", "brag about this", "turn this into a promo", "make an ad for this", or wants to share what…
  • coco-cli — Install, update, version-check, or uninstall the Coco open-source AI workflow framework via bin/coco.js. Use when setting up Coco on a machine, checking out the pinned release tag into an existing clone, checking the installed version, or removing it. npx…
  • coco-diagram — Use for architecture, current-state, process, data-flow, medallion, or DP diagrams, including redrawing .drawio and Mermaid sources. Creates branded flowchart, sequence, ER, org, timeline, and chart visuals as standalone HTML/SVG/PNG.
  • coco-loop — Start a safe, governed autonomous loop from a plain-language goal. Use when the user says /coco-loop, "run an autonomous loop", "keep my build green for N hours", "work on X autonomously for a while", or wants a bounded self-improving loop that proposes…
  • coco-ship — Use when finished work needs to reach a coco-managed repository (coco-research/coco or similar) — verifies branch state, commits, pushes through the corporate DLP guard only when actually needed, opens a PR against main, waits for CI, and reports the result…
  • coco — Use when the user invokes /coco or /coco!, says catch me up, or asks what needs attention, a project status, their todos, decisions or people. Renders the PM dashboard and routes each subcommand to its platform tool or a PM skill.
  • code-verification — Use after every code change, after writing tests, or before marking a task complete, and when the user says verify, quality gate, or audit code. Runs a 7-category mechanical check for TDZ, import, dead code, and mock leakage bugs.
  • context-budget — Audit token consumption across agents, skills, MCP servers, and rules. Identifies bloat, redundant components, and produces prioritized token-savings recommendations. Use when the context window is filling up too fast or before adding new components.
  • design-taste-frontend — Use when the user asks for a landing page, marketing site, portfolio, or redesign, not dashboards or data tables. Infers a design read, sets the three dials, picks a real design system, and blocks generic AI patterns at pre-flight.
  • dispatching-parallel-agents — Use when facing 2+ independent tasks that can be worked on without shared state or sequential dependencies
  • doc-sync — Use when linked docs drift, when a source file changes and downstream PRDs, decks, or notes must follow, or when a .sync-report.md exists. Diffs the proposed edits, applies them only after approval, and never overwrites a target file.

About this listing

Coco is a community collection of agent skills on GitHub by coco-research: folders with a SKILL.md file, the format Codex loads skills from. Its README mentions Codex. It passed the CodexStacks quality filter for skills (at least 100 stars, pushed in the last 90 days, not a fork or a list, and at least one SKILL.md with a name and description). OpenAI hasn't reviewed it, but it passed our Codex install check on Oct 29, 2026 (an install and load check, not a code review). From its files we found 231 skills. It's one of 311 listings in the Productivity category (category assigned by CodexStacks from the repo's topics and description).
